It’s the little things that make a big difference when it comes to creating your perfect cruise experience. We’ve gathered answers to the most common questions about sailing with Victory Cruise Lines, from booking your all-inclusive voyage to what you’ll find in your stateroom aboard our intimate 190-guest ships. Booking, Cruise Documents, Embarkation & Disembarkation
DO I NEED A PASSPORT?
Yes. You must have a passport book (not passport card) and it must be valid for six months post travel.
DO I NEED CANADIAN CURRENCY?
While most Canadian cities accept US currency, there may be certain retailers among the ports that request Canadian currency. It is suggested that travelers bring a small amount of Canadian cash for their time in Canada if they expect to shop. On board, US Currency is standard.
HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT FOR A CRUISE?
For voyages 9 nights and shorter, the deposit is $500 per guest. For voyages 10 nights and longer, the deposit is $1,000 per guest.
WHEN IS FINAL PAYMENT DUE?
Final payment is due 120 days from sailing date.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY FINAL CRUISE DOCUMENTS?
Your final cruise documents are available 30 days prior to sailing. You or your Travel Advisor will receive an email with your cruise documents.
WHAT TIME IS EMBARKATION?
Embarkation begins at 3:00PM.
WHAT TIME IS DISEMBARKATION?
Guests will disembark the vessel by 9:00AM. Some included transfers may depart after this time, but all guests traveling independently are asked to disembark by 9:00AM.
DO YOU OFFER TRANSFERS TO AND FROM THE SHIP?
Yes. Your cruise fare includes transportation from our pre-cruise hotel to the ship at the start of your voyage, as well as transportation from the ship to the airport at the end of your voyage.

Fare Inclusions
ARE SHORE EXCURSIONS INCLUDED?
Every port of call includes a complimentary shore excursion. Note that there are also optional Premium and Immersive Experiences available in each port at an additional cost.
ARE DRINKS INCLUDED?
Yes. Standard cocktail drinks are included with your cruise fare, as are beer and wine. Premium spirits and fine wines are available at an additional cost. Coffee, water, and soda are always complimentary.
DO YOU OFFER A BEVERAGE PACKAGE?
Yes. We offer a premium beverage package at $99 per stateroom, per day ($49.50 per guest). Standard drinks are included in cruise fare.
IS WIFI INCLUDED?
Yes. WiFi is complimentary on board for all guests.
HOW MUCH ARE GRATUITIES?
Gratuities of $18.50 per guest, per day are automatically added to your onboard invoice if not paid prior to your cruise.

DO YOU OFFER CHILDREN’S RATES?
No. Unfortunately we do not offer a separate rate for children.
DO YOU ACCOMMODATE SOLO TRAVELERS?
Yes. We welcome solo travelers with single supplements. Please speak with a Victory Cruise Advisor for applicable voyages and details.
DO YOU OFFER A MILITARY/VETERAN DISCOUNT?
Yes. With proof of military status, guests can receive a $500 discount.
Dining
WHAT TIME IS BREAKFAST?
Breakfast times vary with port times, but are standardly between the hours of 7:00-9:00AM with a minimum open time of 90 minutes.
WHAT TIME IS LUNCH?
Lunch times may vary depending on tour times, but are standardly between the hours of 12:00-2:00PM with a minimum open time of 90 minutes.
WHAT TIME IS DINNER?
Dinner is held nightly in the dining room from 7:00-9:00PM with open seating. Dinner at the Tuscan Stone Grill is by reservation only. Reservations begin at 6:45PM; the last reservation is from 6:30-9:00PM
WHAT TIME IS AFTERNOON TEA?
Afternoon tea is typically served around 2:00 or 3:00PM.
CAN I MAKE DINNER RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE?
No. Dinner reservations at the Tuscan Stone Grill are managed on a first-come, first-served basis and are booked on board. We expect and invite every stateroom and suite to dine at the Tuscan Stone Grill at least two times per cruise for dinner. Reservations are not required for dinner in the Coastal Dining Room.
IS THE SHIP ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE DIETARY NEEDS?
Yes. Our culinary team is able to attend to a variety of dietary needs. Please contact a Victory Cruise Advisor for details.
Dress Code
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Days aboard our ships call for casual attire. Resort casual is appropriate for evenings.
Staterooms
ARE THERE HAIRDRYERS IN STATEROOMS?
Yes. Every guest stateroom has a hair dryer in the bathroom.
DO STATEROOMS HAVE COFFEE MACHINES?
No. There are no coffee machines in staterooms or suites. However, self-service coffee machines are available in The Compass Lounge and The Grill with your choice of latte, espresso, capuccino, and regular coffees.
ARE THERE REFRIGERATORS IN THE STATEROOMS?
Mini-refrigerators are available in Owner Suites and AA staterooms only.
ARE THERE IRONING BOARDS IN STATEROOMS?
No. However, the onboard team is happy to assist with your ironing needs on a first-come, first-served basis.
DO YOU OFFER LAUNDRY SERVICES?
Yes. Laundry services are offered throughout the cruise at an additional cost.
DO THE STATEROOMS HAVE SAFES?
Yes. Every stateroom and suite has a personal safe.
WHAT IS THE ELECTRICAL VOLTAGE IN THE STATEROOMS?
All staterooms and suites feature standard USA Voltage / 110 Volts AC.
Spa & Fitness
CAN I MAKE SPA RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE?
No. Spa reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis and are booked on board.
WHAT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE AT THE SPA?
Spa services include a range of massage, facial, hair, and nail treatments.
IS THERE A GYM ON BOARD?
Yes. Our ships have an small gym on the Second Deck which includes free weights and a few machines.
DOES THE SHIP HAVE A POOL?
No. Our ships do not have a pool.
Elevators & Guests with Physical Disabilities
DO THE SHIPS HAVE ELEVATORS?
Yes. Each ship has one one elevator accessing Decks 1-4. There is no elevator access to The Sun Deck.
ARE THE SHIPS ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE GUESTS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES?
Yes. However, it is important to note that while almost all areas of the ship are accessible by wheelchair, The Grill and The Sun Deck are not. Guests needing any form of mobility assistance, and those who are physically disabled, must be accompanied by someone who will take full responsibility for any needed assistance during the cruise and in the event of an emergency.
Library & Shopping
IS THERE A GAME ROOM OR LIBRARY ON BOARD?
While we do not have a designated game room or a library on board, we do provide a selection games and reading material in the Compass Lounge on both ships.
IS THERE A GIFT SHOP ON BOARD?
While we do not have a gift shop on board, we do have a small selection of items available for purchase during your cruise.
Doctor
ARE THERE MEDICAL FACILITIES ON BOARD?
Yes. There is a doctor on board both ships; however, services are provided at an additional cost.
Miscellaneous
IS THE SHIP NON-SMOKING?
Both our vessels are non- smoking; however, smoking is permitted in designated areas on the outer decks of the ship.
CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL ON BOARD?
No. Bringing your own alcohol on board is not allowed.
ARE SERVICE ANIMALS ALLOWED ON BOARD?
No. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate service animals on our ships.
